CONTEST NO 1 - FIND THE HIDDEN SEA-SHELL!
PRIZE -A kangaroo cuddly toy"

Yep, somewhere on the Green Frog Poetry Club site is a hidden SEA-SHELL.  But where is it????  It could be on any of the Club site pages.  It's time for you to hunt.  When you find it, email me and tell me the page it is hiding on and you're in the draw to win.

CONTEST NO 2 - FINISH THE LAST LINE
PRIZE -   a home made froggy cross stich card - great for framing!

Here is where I make up 3 lines of a verse and it is up to you to submit the last line.  If your line is chosen, you win.  Ready?

It was Easter time in Australia
There were eggs hidden everywhere
But all I found in my own back yard
..............................................?

HINT - the last line should rhyme with the second.

CONTEST NO 3 - TAG STORY COMPETITION
PRIZE - A great gecko keyring

To win this prize, go to the link below
and read the story so far.  Then think up what you believe the next paragraph should be.  It can be anything.  You can change the direction of the story completely, or perhaps you instinctively know what you would like to come next.  There is no right or wrong to this contest, but one paragraph will be chosen and that person will win the prize and have their paragraph added to the story.  Then I will write the next one, and then it is up to the members again to come up with the next installment when next months contests are announced.

CONTEST NO 4 - HOW MANY RHYMING WORDS?
PRIZE - A retro frog toy

This one will really get you thinking.  It's easy.  How many words can you come up with, that rhyme with the word 'SNAKE'.  Send your list to me and the person with the most words wins.  No brand names allowed.  Good luck!

CONTEST NO 5 - THE BIG CHALLENGE!!!! (ARE YOU GAME?)
PRIZE - A 'Make your own hot air balloon Model kit'

This is a great challenge, but I believe that there will be those of you who will be able to do it!  Last time I had a contest of this nature, there were some fabulous entries.  So here goes.  I challenge you to come up with a poem (of any style), but it must feature all of the words listed below

outback
hammer
sunshine
maths book
fan
toadstool
camera
power

Good luck!  And please don't forget.  When entering the competitions, always make sure to include the contest no and your name and postal address.
